"Okay, here we are," Reed said as their craft touched-down in the X-Men's secret hanger. "Thank god!" Kitty Pryde said as she ran up to them. "Maybe now we have a chance. Come on, the X-Men and what's left of the Avengers are all in the conference room." * * * Spider-Beast (as Spider-Woman was starting to call herself) and Black Widow chittered as they scuttled through the remnants of New York, looking for prey. Both of them had developed part of the temperament of Black Widow's namesake. They looked for humans to mate with... and then consume.
