Jenny Powers stood dumbfounded in front of the computer in her room.
“Powers, you have done well, thanks to your observations the percentage likely hood of Amazing Woman having commited the assault on Miss DeMore is now at 97.7% as such Amazing Woman is now to be placed under arrest and a SWORD collection team will arrive
to extract her for questioning.” Optic said with no emotion at all.
“But…. Ma’am, I am sure there is an explination for all of this, I know Martha, and I know that she wouldn’t attack an innocent woman like that, there must be some mistake,” Jenny said hurridly.
“The facts are plain, the computer has calculated all the factors,” Optic replied.
“Ok, but,” Jenny said, then decided she had to tell about Brett, even if it would get Martha into trouble it wouldn’t be as bad as this. “Amazing Woman had an online date with Brett Jenkin’s that night, they’ve remained in contact, anyway, she was waiting
in all night for him and he stood her up!” Jenny blurted.
“Thank you for this new information Powers, I will speak to Jenkins. Stand by your computer I will be back in contact within twenty minutes.”
With that Optic was gone and Jenny was left feeling confused.

Amazing Woman looked through the folder with information on Mimic, Jason Todd had kindly let her use his desk, after the awful kiss of course. Martha looked up at him, he was sitting in one of his luxurious leather arm chairs looking like that cat that had
got the cream. God, she hated him so much. She knew she was in trouble though, big trouble. She had given in to his blackmail twice now. Worse than that is that she hadn’t got anything in return. Jason still had all the evidence about SWORD and still could
hurt her sister. He knew her weak points and he was prepared to use them.
Unless she could do something about Jason, destroy him in some ways he owned her. She had been right when she’d said she wasn’t his whore, but she knew it was only a matter of time. Soon he wouldn’t be content with just kisses.
That was a future problem though, right now for whatever reason he seemed to be an ally. He had certainly come up trumps with this file on Mimic. As soon as she had read the file and learned all she could she’d be able to get Pink Maiden, they’d bust this
rival of Jason’s and find out what they’d paid Mimic to do.

“Mr Jenkin’s has not corroborated Amazing Woman’s story,” Optic said to a shocked Jenny Powers, “According to him he was waiting for her by his computer all night, and it was her that didn’t show up for the date. Powers, you are now in command of the Metro
City base until someone is sent to releave you. You orders are to apprehend Amazing Woman and hold her until we can extract her. Is that understood.
Jenny Powers took a deep breath. “Understood Ma’am.”
“Optic Out.”
The screen went blank.
