Reed circled the city high above as he continued to make scans, the more he found the more he wanted to throw up. there was not ONE human life sign left in the city as it burned below, every building demolished, every scrap of civilization pulverized, the
city was simply gone.
In its wake were several large structures that looked like termite mounts from their altitude, made of the raw materials around them. Metal, stone, plastic, it was all... chewed up and used to make these primitive fortresses below them.
"Hey Stretch, there's a signal not far from here." Said Ben as he flicked the communicator on the their flight deck.

Just as Reed set t he controls to follow Iron Man a heavy slam was heard at the front of their craft, looking up they were shocked at the sight before them.
It looked so much like Miss Marvel, but she was huge! She had to have been at least 10 feet tall and rippling with enough muscle to put the Hulk to shame, her skin was scaly with sharp spines jutting out of her arms and back, her hands and feet had sharp
talons that dug into the hull of the spaceship that kept her latched on. The look of cruel mirth spread from the creature's face, as a long black tongue licked razor sharp teeth.

Thor and Iron Man landed roughly outside the front lawn of the Xavier Institute for 'gifted' youngers, the sound of the propulsion jets awakening just about everyone on campus.
