The phone on Jason’s desk rang again. He glanced at the caller ID box that simply read: “The Boss.”
Jason quickly picked it up and said “Hi Boss, I know your calling about Amazing Woman and…”
“I want her alive,” said a soft woman’s voice, a voice that was soft as silk, cold as ice, and yet seductive as hell.
Jason Lance was to his knowledge the only person who knew that the Crime Lord of Metro City was a woman. Although he had never met her in person, Jason was the only person to ever speak with the Crime Lord as all her orders were delivered and overseen by Jason.
“I know your working your hardest, that is not in question,” she said, “I know the angle in which your looking for her, and there’s another you haven’t even noticed. Detective Doris Major is also taken it upon herself to identify and capture Amazing Woman.
Get eyes on her and see if we overlooked anything.”

Amazing Woman watched Brett intensely on the monitor as he showered and lathered his body with soap. Martha had trouble taking her eyes off him, her years of service within SWORD and her training to be Amazing Woman had been very lonely for her. It had been
almost six years since she last had a boyfriend or even a girlfriend.
Looking at Brett’s body in the buff made her feel weak. Perhaps this was a mistake choosing him to her “candidate” for the job. Martha always did have a weakness for younger men and what they brought to the bedroom.
Her hand massaged her own breast through her costume as her left hand journeyed between her legs in front of her green shorts.
