The Scarlet Claw frowned as she entered the secret base of one of her former identities, Lady Octopus. The base was concealed inside a run-down warehouse and protected by many technological security measures, but fortunately the Scarlet Claw's cybernetic
claws still contained the transmitter to disable these, like Trainer's tentacles had. On the inside however, the base was rather bleak. Metal walls everywhere, lots of computer consoles.
"Not as opulent as I want it. I deserve a nice place, don't you agree?" she muttered.
The Melder couldn't reply, since the breath had been thoroughly knocked out of him by being dragged by the crazy super-thief. The Claw pondered for a moment, tossing the melding ray-gun between her hands a bit. She had the body of a supermodel mixed with that
of an athlete, giving her a very curvy figure that the Melder couldn't help but ogle. The fact that her costume was a skin-tight dark red bodysuit with a plunging neckline almost down to her navel coupled with Lady Octopus' thigh-high tech boots and tech gloves
(both gloves and boots having a Black Cat-like fur trim) carrying her trademark launchable claws only added to the appeal. her face was extremely alluring, with her red hair arranged in a ponytail and a mask that was a mixture of Lady Octopus' tech-tiara and
Black Cat's mask.
"I need to get a new joint. And I need some help to do it. And I think I know who. You know, this ray is pretty amazing, it's released all my inhibitions and let me be at peace with myself. I don't miss being three separate people at all, even though they all
had very different ethics and goals in life"
She purred as she moved closer to the Melder, hips swaying seductively.
"Unfortunately... you're not really my type. Not athletic enough, not hunky enough... But with the ray, we can fix that, no?"
She grinned devilishly and pretend-zapped the Melder, who was by now sweating a lot.
"Wait! You can't use it on me! I'm the only one who knows how to operate it!" It was a half-lie, since the Melder barely knew the operations of the device from the brief instructions Kang had given him.
