Power Girl moaned as she felt new changes to her body. Her fingernails flaked off, replaced by black feline claws. She wondered what kind of creature she would become. They were all so wonderful. Another thought bubbled up, a very tiny one that screamed about a mission...

Karen's clawed fingers stroked Diana's dome of a belly, feeling the bestial life stirring within. Her fingers crawled over Green Lantern's, and closed around his power ring. Reluctantly, ever so much, she broke her lips away from Diana's beautiful milk-spurting breast and cried out.

"TERRA! NOW!"

She tore the ring from Hal's finger before he realized what was happening and planted a fist in his face, knocking him back. The former JLA headquarters rumbled, and the stone beneath the monsters' feet, hooves and claws turned to churning mud. Diana roared in rage as Karen tearfully blasted her in the eyes with her heat vision, temporarily blinding the immense snake-woman.

The centre of the room burst open, revealing four figures who quickly began to fight Diana's offspring and the unprepared legion of monstrous ex-heroes: Terra (Power Girl's young Stratan ally, Atlee), Vixen (able to take on the powers of any animal), Fire and Ice (whose powers are self-explanatory). They struck hard and fast, subduing a full third of the beasts within moments.

Vixen used the speed of a cheetah and the touch of an electric eel to incapacitate the Flash. Ice's powers froze the draconian J'onn before he could shapeshift and Fire's powers scorched and blinded anything with wings, causing them to crash into the muddy floor. Terra pushed herself to the limit, gritting her teeth as she trapped anything that hit the ground in stony shackles. Black Canary and Green Arrow were caught together, still copulating, waist-deep in solid rock. The young Stratan held others at bay with a scattered blast of stones.

Karen wept as she battered Diana with her fists. It was like she was pummeling her own mother! She knew she had to knock the massive snake-woman out before she regained her faculties. Diana fought fiercely, slashing with her claws and striking with her stinger.

The Batmobile's tranciever beeped. Batman flipped it on.

"-ention all units, we have a robbery in progress at Gotham First national. Suspects identified as Harvey Dent, aka 'Two-Face', and accomplices, advise caution, repeat: caution. Suspects may be armed with experimental military ordnance."

"Damn," Bruce cursed, swerving the Batmobile onto a highway exit.

"What are you doing?" Huntress protested. "The police can handle this, I'm sure. We should go after Circe and get this reversed, before Diana unleashes a thousand monsters!"

"We do have an advantage," Batman said. "We sent in a team to attack Diana from the inside. It was a risky gambit, but I have confidence it'll work. Right now, I also have a city to protect."

"Okay," Huntress nodded, flexing her clawed fingers. After she considered it, she was indeed craving meting out justice to the guilty. Helena's instincts were flaring up, regardless of Diana's control. "So how are we going to hit them?"

"We aren't," Batman replied. "I need you to wait in the car, Helena. There's no telling what will cause a relapse."

"I can fight!" Huntress snarled.

"Not this time, I'm afraid," Batman said as they reached their destination.
