(Not really proud of this one, but...it's been a VERY rough week and I'm tired.)
She was gathering them together, just as she'd planned...almost unaware that the old Kitty would have been horrified to see her dear friends reunited as a collection of villains and druglords. She was so pleased with her planning that she simply sank back
and let her servants rub her immoble, elephantine body with sunblock as they wheeled her out to the pool. A dozen musclemen fawned over her, and as they pampered her...she accepted it as her due. After all, she'd been a heroine hadn't she? She'd spent her
life running about and risking her neck to save lives...didn't the universe own her this little vacation. And...who said it had to end right now? After all, she had a party to plan for...
Time passes...and her hungers and lusts grew stronger, while her willingness to control her dark side faded...faded...faded...
(At the party)
Jeanine Frost - dressed much like her adopted mother, though she was called the name "White Princess" - stalked through the crowds of worshipful followers and high-level crime figures. She was looking for Katherine Lugworth, feeling that seeing the girl
would help clear this funk she seemed to be living under. She knew her wonderful mother was Emma Frost, and that she was a loyal and loving daughter who dearly wanted to grow up to be EXACTLY live her mother. But sometimes when she saw herself in a mirror
she'd pause...and think "This can't be right!" before shaking her head and muttering under her breath. She bumped into Siouxsie Ravanna - slim, blond and evil as sin - and chatted with the girl long enough to grasp...that she liked her. In fact, weren't they
good friends? She tried to remember where they'd become friends, but all that came to mind was the fact that Siouxsie's mothers organization distributed the drugs that the Slug smuggled into the country. The Slug and Belladonna worked hand in hand, and some
Then...she saw her...and the sight wiped away all her half truths and fading dreams.
The girl - Katherine Luggman - was a great, globe-like mass of blubber pinned by her own bulk...but also seeming not to care. As huge as she was, and she was almost impossibly fat. her smooth skin was deeply tanned and her hair long, blond and shining. Her
massive body was all but naked except for her tiny red bikini, and as she looked up at them...
Her mouth was a huge maw with heavy, crimson-painted lips. Her eyes were so shadowed and heavily lidded she looked stoned to the gills. She smoked from a long, black cigarette holder and when she saw them...she smiled, and that smile devoured her memories
of Kitty Pryde. Instead, Jeanine and Siouxsie clearly saw who they expected to see...and all three friends squealed in delight as Jeanine and Siouxsie gushed "Sluggy" and Sluggy Luggman spread her arms wide to embrace them both.
"Oh, Dar-lings..." drawled Sluggy (Kitty their minds asked, but no...) as she settled back into her shair. "...I was worried that you ladies were...different somehow, but...you're the same evil bitches I've alwasy known."
And they were. Sluggy, Jeanine and Siouxsie were the same good friends they'd always been. Yess, such good friends. While they talked, they just seemed to reinforce their new memories. Yes, they were such good friends...
