Wonder Woman arrived at the empty military base in New Mexico. Upon arriving, the amazon flew her invisible jet around the base and could not see any sign of activity or life. "This does not look good," said Wonder Woman.
The amazon landed her jet at nearby canyon, just outside of the military base. "A perfect spot to survey the base without being detected," thought Wonder Woman. As she landed her plane, she noticed the canyon had numerous holes along the wall, a perfect opportunity
for an ambush. Wonder Woman got out of the plane and snuck behind a wall to get a look at the base. "Odd that the Dept of Defense had very little information about the disappearance of the soldiers and scientists. I wonder what could have happened," said
Wonder Woman.
Suddenly Wonder Woman saw a shadowy figure creep into a small metal shed in the base. Wonder Woman decided to carefully pursue the person, so she quickly sprinted towards the base, careful to stay out of plain sight. She leaped over the steel linked fence
and in a matter of seconds, reached the shed. She gazed into the window and could not see anything inside. Wonder Woman slowly opened the steel door, all of a sudden she felt a strong body slam into the door on to her her head,, knocking her to the ground.
Temporarily dazed, Wonder Woman looked up and saw the figure run into a nearby cave within the canyon. "Hera, what was that?!? That brute certainly has quite a bit of power, I better not underestimate this person," said Wonder Woman. "Perhaps it would be
a good idea to report in," thought Wonder Woman.
The amazon ran back to her invisible plane to radio in but to her surprise and horror, the dashboard of her jet was destroyed. "Damn it, who did this?!?" exclaimed Wonder Woman.
The amazon heard a hysterical laughter echo from the distance, possibly from the base. "I better find out what's going on here," said Wonder Woman.
