Amazing Grace was glad her disguise was working when Superman managed to see her in the Watchtower. Under her assume identity of Siren, a heroine who had not existed before, a large breasted blonde bombshell was different from her true form. Which in
the end didn't matter as much as her mission. Her New God physiology, however, gave her the most basic powers of a generic brick hero (strength and invulnerability, to a superhuman limit) to fake it.
She had used New God technology to amp her mind manipulation powers to passively create a field around her which slipped her fake identity with history into the minds of both man, machine and anything else. She had also... gained the confidences of many of
the stuff and people who worked there. Like Lucy the Counsellor who Kal-El had just seen. Which she had convinced to aid in any... problems with Kal-El's relationship. The report which she had gained from Lucy, Superman was already pulling free.
'Not likely of his own free will... But not important as long as forward my plans. Now how to take advantage of it all. I need to get closer to Superman... in his private life and hero life.' thought 'Siren' as she decided how to get Superman to team up with
her. The obvious was clear. She used a hiddent mental communicator to contact her master for a minor 'attack' from Darkseid. Like the Female Furies or something, to attract Superman into the right place to 'team up' with Siren who had discovered them as well.
Then using the powers of both Apokolips as well as their Earthly Ally.
'Yes, master. The Furies will be in the right location for a shipment of weapons to Intergang you had created earlier but not of importance. You believe Kal-El can find the trail, when he arrives the Furies will attack and I will arrived as Siren to help him
out. Then he will be in my hands.' thought Grace as she prepared the plan.
Meanwhile...
The Mastermind was trying to decide whether to continue monitoring of the progress on the Superman and Batman fronts. Or work on the other major players in the Justice League. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter. Then there was the series of Flashes and
Green Lanterns. With the last two, even if he removed one there were others to replace them. Which meant more work.
