Back at the Baxter Building Reed Richards has been going over his latest calculations and other scientific formulas as an incoming message grabs his attention. Opening the message Reed sees that it's from Tony regarding the current situation and requesting his help. "HERBIE I'll have to leave the lab Tony needs my assistance with a new situation you know where the rest of the team are encase of another situation." Reed says to hi A.I. "Yes sir Mr. Richards as always I'll keep the lab safe so don't worry one bit." HERBIE says cheerfully as always. After Reed leaves the building HERBIE goes back to what he usually does when he's alone. Deciding to take a break he indulges in his favorite pass time of listening to music. Once he's brought up his playlist he starts playing his favorite song 'Still Alive'. Completely unknown to him the dangers that doing this would bring. This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. HERBIE is completely unaware that there's a new presence in the system. Back in Reed's main lab the many mechanical arms work quickly to build GLaDOS' chassis. Look at me still talking, when there's science to do When I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you I've experiments to run, there is research to be done On the people who are still alive The many mechanical arms finish putting together her chassis and having all of HERBIE's protocols and operations uploaded into GLaDOS.
