"Look Miss Lane," Peter said again, "Spiderman doesn't have a schedule. The reason we are in this part of town is because this is where the crime that he handles is."
"You are holding out on me Parker." Lois said for the fifteenth time tonight.
"Miss Lane," Peter sighed, "There should be a mugging in this area every twenty seconds."
"Every twenty seconds?" Lois was about to explode again.
Peter was slightly concerned.
"Ok kid, top of that roof in twenty minutes, I have to make a phone call."
"Right, you need anything?" Peter asked.
"I'll see you up there."
Peter went out across the street to one of New York's many pizza by the slice shops.
"Ok you two. I have had enough!" Lois sneered.
"Lois your blood pressure," Clark sang to her.
"You two have been keeping me and Parker off the spider's tracks haven't you?" Lois jammed her finger into her husband's chest.
"We figured while we were here together," Mary Jane said as she played with the blonde wig, "We might do some family bonding."
"That Scorpion never saw us coming," Clark smirked, "Did he?"
"I am calling Bats," Lois huffed, "I am getting two Kryptonite spears and I am shoving them up your asses!"
"You want a ride to the top?" Clark asked.
"Yeah that kid has been trying to ditch me all week."
