Loki had been through a lot lately. He was killed by The Void, then was resurrected as a teenager, saved Thor's life and along the way became a young hero. But then he encountered his older self and was corrupted by evil. Luckily for Loki, he was the only
one who knew of his descent.
Loki used this opportunity to attempt to gain power and influence. With no suspicion he thought he would be able to obtain an object of great power. He knew that going after The Cosmic Cube, The Infinity Gauntlet, or any object of that level would attract
the wrong kind of attention. So he went with a lesser known object with as much potential.
After much searching he was able to track down and obtain the ancient book of sins, The Darkhold. Loki searched the book and found the page of wishes. He learned of the incantation to bring forth the Wish Demon. The only problem with his plan was that the
Wish Demon needed a host body.
He decided to use his Young Avengers teammate Miss America. Not much was known about her throughout the heroic community and her constantly being in Loki's company would not arouse suspicion. He waited until he had a moment alone with her and spoke incantation
to allow the Wish Demon to take over her body. He then cast a spell to ensure that the demon would serve him unconditionally.
Loki looked upon the girl who was America Chavez and made his first wish.
"Slave, I wish for you to show me who I should target first to rise to ultimate power."
Instantly his mind was filled with images of the new Illuminati. Reed Richards, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Hank McCoy, Stephen Strange, T'Challa, Namor,and Black Bolt. The secret cabal of the most powerful men in the world would obviously pose a major threat
to his plans.
"I wish for the Illuminati to be as far removed from this world as possible with no hope of returning."

In the Black Panther's palace in Wakanda....
Iron Man, Captain America, Beast, Dr Strange, Mr Fantastic, Black Panther, Namor and The Black Bolt sat around a table discussing a new threat to Earth. It seemed that Galactus was once again on his way to consume the planet. Strange had proposed a plan
to stop Galactus and transport him to the Negative Zone. In order for the plan to work, the Illuminati needed to teleport to the closest planet to Galactus. Strange summoned a portal and they all stepped through.
Unfortunately for the Illuminati the portal led them to the gladiator planet of Sakaar. The previously destroyed planet has somehow been recreated as it was before the Hulk's arrival. They were instantly captured the the Red King's deathshead guards and
fitted with obediance disks. They were taken to the gladiator arena to die upon the sand.
