Miles feed upon the girl’s wrist while Lili drank from her neck. Miles regarded the seemingly young white woman with some distain. Sure with her black hair and alabaster skin she seemed to be the classic vamp, but Miles knew that it would have been more effective for him to simply use his Venom Blast to knock out some poor goon and just pull ‘em into their web.
“Stop whining boy,” Lili cooed, “The seduction is the best part of securing your victim. You enjoyed being seduced big boy!”
“Well it was fun,” Miles conceded, “MJ and you blinded sided me good.”
“You want to take out the heart?” Lili asked.
“I know how much you enjoy that,” Miles tried to hide how squeamish it made him.
“Let me rephrase that,” Lili said, “Take out her heart boy. We are assassins, and we cannot be squeamish.”

Luthor watched the surveillance feeds. He knew he had those damned Vampires in his city, but he couldn’t find them. The problem was that there were too many people who were too damn desperate. There were too many fucked up corpses turning up that they could have been vampire victims, but they were kept from turning. Luthor thought about Mercy. She had served as a learning tool even if she had betrayed them.
“Pamela,” Luthor turned to guardian, “Any luck in finding our pests?”
“Not yet Luthor,” she sneered.
Luthor hadn’t let her get under his skin and that by itself pissed her off!
“While those monsters are helping with our inability to deal with the refugee population,” Luthor sighed, “They are undermining our security and sending reports back to that bitch in New York.”
“Do you want me to concentrate on them?” Pamela asked.
“No,” Luthor breathed, “Food is your top priority. I know it is killing you, but I am sure you know what would happen if we let them win.”
“I know we are dying,” Pamela spoke for the plants, “Without the Ultra Violet light we are missing part of what we need.”
