"OK," Babs said as she exited the bathroom, "Huntress, can you please call Catwoman and invite her over. Please forget to mention that I am here when you call."
"OK," Huntress turned to her task.
"Have you made figured out what you are going to do?" Wendy asked.
"Sort of, but I need to talk to Selina first," Babs breathed deeply, "Once I have her opinion I will be ready to make my decisions and move forward."
Barda came over and put her arm over Bab's shoulder.
"You know we will help no matter what," Barda smiled.
When Selina entered the Birds of Prey base, Huntress brought her to the Tea-room that they had set up. The girls were all there, most were sitting on cushions on the floor cuddling and making out while they waited. But Selina knew that it was this world's
Batgirl siting at the table in her latex Bat-suit.
"Babs?" Selina smiled as she asked.
"Selina!" Babs couldn't help herself.
As much as she had wanted to stay calm and seated, she rushed up and kissed her extremely close friend. The two broke the kiss after a long moment. Bab's took Selina's hand and lead her to an unused room for a private talk.
"You are glowing," Selina noted.
"I am not," Babs smirked, "But that is part of why I wanted to talk to you."
"What's up?" Selina asked.
"What doubts went through your head when you became pregnant?" Babs sat in her computer terminal's chair, "Did you ever think that you shouldn't be Catwoman again?"
"Being a hero and a mother are not exclusive," Selina smiled, "But it's not for everyone. I know I had to take some time after Helen was born to get back in shape. But this isn't about me is it?"
"No, I have been thinking," Babs drifted off for a second, "Maybe I need a new identify if I am going to be a mom... something behind the lines.
"Sounds like you already have this planed out," Selina prodded.
"I found something when I went to the Prude Gotham," Babs sighed, "It only spurred me to finalize my decision faster."
"So?" Selina was prying.
"I have enough credits and the GPA to graduate at the end of the semester with honors. I have already been offered jobs here on the up and up. I could get some that allow me to work at home if I have a new family. I would move to more of a back stage
position here and in the Batcave," Babs layed out the plan for Selina, "I know Dick would have to stay in the field, but at least we could more or less be keeping the same hours. And our little Bat-bird would be able to play with your Bat-kitty. What's more
I would have the ability to deal with a threat that has taken aim at our world..."
Selina's ears perked, but Bab's didn't finish her thought.
"But first?" Selina knew to prod in a different direction.
"I need to have a very uncomfortable conversation," Bab's got up heading towards the elevator.
Babs didn't have her cape or cowl on, and once she put the heavy black rubber trench coat on you couldn't tell she was wearing a batsuit.
"And who are you having that conversation with?" Selina smiled
