Val lumbered down to breakfast, her knuckles almost dragging against the floor. At least her brain was undamaged. She was still a genius... just one trapped in a troglodyte's body. A very, very hungry troglodyte.

Her stomach rumbled against.

She sighed and rubbed it. Gawd, she was ravenous! Maybe once she'd had some breakfast -- a very big breakfast -- she could figure out what to do next about the Beautifier. "Beautifier"! What sort of sicko wold consider this beautiful!

She came into the kitchen to discover someone was already there, a petite super-cute teen girl whose chestnut brown hair was pulled into two pigtails. She had a dressing-gown pulled tight around her body and was smoking a cigar! Val licked her lips. The cigar sure smelled good, but so weird sticking out from between that teenager's lips.

"Who are you?" Val snarled.

The girl squealed, dropped her cigar, then leaped away.

"Who are you?" the girl said.

"I asked first!"

"I'm Ben Grimm!"
