The White Rabbit was more than a little confident now. This was a big win even if it was a strange one. Raising the dead. Making Spider-Man's dead girlfriend into a size-changing moll maid with poofy mittens for her Mad Hatter? Well, that was downright frubious! It was also terribly exciting. That  was for Tetch, though. Oh, she got her first henchwench out of it, but she needed more. "So what do you think we need now, Alice? What would you like, past serving me and pretending that you and Jervis are bunnies?"

There were other sorts of tests that were helpful, and here was one of them. The new Alice's response was dreamy. "If I had a world of my own, mistress, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” Tetch tittered in delight to hear it. It was perfect, perfect, just like her.

"I quite like that notion too." The White Rabbit's nose twitched in satisfaction. She and Tetch were both experts in Carroll, but thanks to the A.L.I.C.E. technology, the former Gwen actually thought that way. She lived that way. That's just how she was! It was one thing to hear Tetch parrot it but out of their new pet's mouth, it was something else entirely. It wasn't a game at all. It was real. First her. Then her next minions and eventually, one she had her queen of hearts, the world. And along the way, the loot that she'd pick up! And the first loot would be heroines and heroes, all refocused to her world view. She bit her lip in an overeager bunny expression, her ears lolling this way and that.

He was practically drooling now. "I do as well! Most frabjous day! Most fra..." That's as far as Tetch got before the Rabbit poked him between the eyes with her umbrella.

"Yes, fine. But now that we know it works, what about our Cheshire Cat?" She wasn't dead after all, and she was much more powerful to begin with. Oh, they had to change her much less, just her mind and her heart, but she was dangerous and confident and surrounded by powerful friends.

Tetch coughed but then smiled, large. "Well, it's quite simple. Alice will invite her to a tea party you see!"

"It'll be a very merry unbirthday for her, Jarvis?" Alice's voice twinkled as she giggled at the thought. She was the muscle but everything was so very curious to her.

Tetch gave her a squeeze. "Of sorts, yes! We'll switch foolish Gwen back on and have her rush to the Invisible Woman in a panic. Then, once she's gained her trust, we'll switch her back off and Alice will lead her just where we need!"

"Oh! She will look cross and confused and I will say to her. "I can't explain myself, I'm afraid ma'am. Because I'm not myself, you see. And then you'll come in and the party will begin."

The White Rabbit couldn't help but laugh, her cheeks moving up and down along with her bosom. "I suppose a tea party it is. And when it's done, she'll be my cheshire blonde, and soon after, her husband no more than a mere flat playing card."
