Castle Doom, Latveria

The clock read 430 in the morning.  Diana’s bed was surrounded by the old style dressed maids.  The image seemed so straight out of children of the corn, it only added to the constant nightmare feeling.

“Your Highness,” the head maid, “It is time for you to get up.  We must take you to the Ladies’ house on the other side of the city to prepare you for your wedding.”

“What?” Diana asked.

“The priest told us that the tradition is for most of the day you will spend it at one house them Lord Doom should bring you back to the castle for you wedding night,” a younger maid said.

It was a horrifying moment, Diana realized that she had never attended a real Greek wedding.  None of the Amazons ever married, sure some of them had sapphiric relationships, but they never tried to get “married.”  The only wedding that she had attended were western European Christian Weddings.

“What of the Dowry?” Diana asked, citing one of the barbaric staples of the Pagan Greek Wedding that she had recalled from the older Amazon’s stories.

“We think you will like it,” the youngest of the maids smiled, “Lord Doom asked all for our ideas.”

Diana rolled her eyes and tried to roll the sheets back over her head.  The Maids started stripping the bed while she was still in it.

Mount Olympus

No one ever accused Aphrodite of being “domestic,” in fact her husband Hephaestus often joked that she was the patron goddess of delivery restaurants.  But the fact remained that she kept an area that on the surface it seemed like what a mortal would consider to be a kitchen.  This was where she made the love potions.  As she danced into the space, she didn’t notice Eris at first.

“Oh, hello Eris,” Aphrodite said when she saw Eris sitting at her table.

Eris had plate, a fork, a spoon and a table knife.

“This is a dangerous game you play,” Eris snickered.

“What do you mean?” Aphrodite asked.

“This is the stagnate possibility,” Eris laid the knife on the table pointing away from her, “Victor and Diana have a kid, but they both grow to loath each other.  But lets say Diana ‘corrupts’ Victor, and makes him a better person maybe even a hero,” Eris laid down a spoon pointing to the left from the knife, “but then again, Victor might corrupt Diana making her a willing accomplice in his villainy,” Eris put the fork down pointed to right, “then again… well you remember Hellen of Troy?  He he Diana of Troy,” Eris put the plate on top of the cross that she made with the silverware.
