When Barbara awoke she was strapped into a metal chair, she was facing a bank of computer monitors. She was naked and saw out of the corner of her eye that the wound on her arm had healed. How long had she been out?
There were electrode wires connected to different parts of her body. Two Iv’s were injected in her arm and a man in a green suit approached her, switching one of the iv bags for a new one, a green liquid.
“Good. You're awake” he said. “ Need you alert for stage three” He ran his finger down her cheek. “ Not be long now”
“Riddler! She blurted out “What are you doing? Let me go!.....Please!”
“You'll be ready soon dear Ellie” he said placing a mask over her head, as the gas began to take effect the Riddler placed a set of earbuds in her ears. He kissed her on the forehead as she stared ahead at the screens.
He walked to the door, turning before he left he produced a remote control, smiling he and activated the chair.
