Reed quickly ran through the locations of the Fantastic Four; Sue was dancing at Heavenly Bodies, Medusa was visiting with her sister, Firebird was doing some
pro bono hooking out in the city...but She-Hulk should still be in the building.
He quickly commed her office. At that moment, Jen and Rick were making out passionately, so Jen was rather annoyed when Reed's call came in.
"Yeah, Reed," she said, somewhat breathless. "What is it?"
"We have appear to have an interdimensional incursion in the building."
She-Hulk cursed. "Who and were?"
"I don't know, and pinning it down. There's no trace of a rift or portal, but there's definitely an extradimensional entity present in the building."
Rick spoke up. "Uh, yeah. That'd be me."
She-Hulk stared at him. "WHAT?"

Twenty minutes later, Reed had Rick inside some machine or other, and was observing the results.
"Absolutely fascinating. The body is of our Rick, but the consciousness is not; it appears to be a duplicate of that an alternate Rick.
"You mean...I'm possessing your Rick? Is he okay," Rick said, concerned for his counterpart.
"No need to worry. He's there too, just quiescent. He appears to be asleep and having a rather pleasant dream. He should awake as soon as I remove you."
Rick closed his eyes; this was a lot to take in, and he didn't really care for the implications of this, but it wasn't right for him to steal another guy's body.
"So, how soon can we go about doing that?" he asked.
"Hang on," She-Hulk interjected. "What happens to this Rick? He seems like a great guy, we can't just discard him."
Reed chuckled. "Not to worry. It should be relatively easy to create an 'empty' duplicate body of Rick for him to inhabit, and to transfer him in there. There is some bad news, however; being a duplicate, Rick, you were not entirely stable, and I believe that
being sent to another universe damaged you; hence your inability to recall how you came to be here. You're fine now, and should remain so, but I do not believe you would survive a return trip."
Rick was aghast. "You mean I'm stuck here?"
Reed nodded. Rick's face fell...until Jen embraced and kissed him.
"Don't you worry, Rick" she said. "I'll make sure you're taken care of and comfortable."
Rick smiled and kissed her back. "Thanks, Jen."
"Hey, what're friends for? Besides if there are two of you, it means you can fuck me more often!"
