"Take them down!" Rogue, now reffering to herself as the Mutant Queen shouted with an air of command. At her word, X-23, Jubilee and Storm charged forward and struck down a group of armed Hydra Cheerleaders. "Take the city! Find Wolverine!" she hollared
as the flying X-soldiers took to the skies. In response, Hydra's soldiers fired a volley of rockets and anti-air turrets. However, their weapons where no match for the combined powers of Surge, Boom-Boom and Jubilee.
"Hail Hydra!" a crazed choir girl shouted as she charged Rogue by herself, weilding nothing but a two-by four. Rogue lashed out a fist and hit the girl head-on, breaking her neck as buullets streamed out of a nearby building. Clearly, Hydra was using it
as cover, but not for long. Rogue tappped into the psychic powers she had absorbed from Jean Grey and Emma Frost, and turned the building's occupants against one another. Within minutes, they had killed themselves, and Rogue moved onto the next buuilding.
And the next, and the next. block by block, she cleared them out. And those who wheren't killed had their minds altered, so that they would serve her, and not misguided leaders. she used these new grunts to search through the city, looking for signs of Wolverine.
It wouldn't be long.

"Damnit!" Fury shouted as he slammed his fist into the table in anger. "There here! Get eeveryone to the sewers!"
"What?" Electro shouted, sparking with power. "We can take them!"
"No," the Punisher, who Fury would have shot on the spot less than a week ago, said defiantly. "We don't have the manpower or the firepower. We need to wait for theem to finish themselves off."
"we have the manpower!" Electro shouted as he pointed to the three members of the Sinister Six behind him, Rhino, Doc Ock and Sandman. "We four have powers!"
"It took six of you just to get your ass handed to you by Spider-man," Fury growled as an explosion came from outside. "We need to retreat! That's an order!" he finished as he beckoned with his hands, indicating that everybody follow him.
"Where is the bug anyway?" the newly-recovered Wolverinegrumbled as he broke into a jog beside Fury. "We need him now more than ever. Don't tell me he's gone and-"
"Our intel says Captain Marvel took him after throwing his redheaded girlfriend off a building," Fury barked as he opened the sewer cover. "She also took an unconscious Moonstone for some reason. She-Hulk was also seen fighting her a few hours ago, and
has apparently been de-powered."
"Is there an extraction plan?" Wolverine grunted. "We're gonna need his brains if-"
"Cap's running it," Fury replied as he helped an injured police officer into the sewer. "we're also trying to get eyes into the Baxter Building and Avengers Mansion. And we know that Stark's being kept hostage in Stark Tower by Pepper Potts," he finished
as the doors to the warehouse chrashed open, and in walked......
