Eros decided not to miss a perfect chance to cause change... by 'influencing' Mephisto into removing the Parker-Watson marriage. Which is why Eros was in the Parker household, the May and Late Ben Parker household where Peter was visiting with his Aunt May.

 The idea was simple... follow Peter around until Eros has selected a fun coupling with Peter. He was leaving out Mary Jane Watson (How many times has he married her already?), Felicia Hardy (The Black Cat being almost as common as MJ) or Gwen Stacy (If you did a clone or resurrection kick, but in the multiverse it as also very common).

 Eros was still wondering if he was going for a couple or a harem, as the latter did seem to be uncommon. As if a more prudish culture had made it taboo and used force of law to make it illegal. Who would do that?

 'Still following Peter Parker or as he is known Spider-man, should give me great selection of hot villainesses, heroines and/or even other women to hook him up with other then the Top Three Lovers.' thought the god as he was invisible as Peter went....
