Leaping down stairs and dashing to the Mystery Machine, Daphne
hoped in back landing on a blanket over some cushions.
“Ow!” Shaggy called from under the blanket.
“Maddy is still looking for him,” Velma informed Daphne, “We
are going to a Haunted light house on the coast.”
“Wait,” Daphne said, “The place we proved was haunted by
a real-estate developer late month?”
“Yep,” Fred smirked, “But now that the ghost is gone, it
has a great beach.”
Daphne looked at the bags she had and the other bag
already in the back of the Mystery Machine.
The bags already in the van had her wetsuit, bikini, towels, and her
camping things. She found herself
slightly disappointed. She still didn’t
have weapons in her kit. Daphne pulled her
laptop out and looked at the Master PC program.
“Comfy down there Shaggy?” Daphne asked with a smile, “What
about you Scooby?”
“Ryme r’right,” Scooby said, “Rut rarout ru?”
“Better than I have in ages,” Daphne scratched Shaggy’s
ear, “You are a good boy!”
“Raaa,” Scooby fawned.
“Like are we clear?” Shaggy asked from under the
blankets.
“Oh look, Maddy,” Daphne said just loud enough for
Shaggy.
Velma and Fred were up front and looking at the road
ahead, Scooby was looking out the back and Shaggy couldn’t see from under the
blanket… so Daphne pulled out her computer.
As soon as she brought up Master PC it went back to her, except the
changed values went from red back to black before Daphne noticed.
“Lets see,” Daphne thought to herself, “I know Russian,
French, German, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, and Japanese… I am
bisexual? My libido rating is really
high… was it always this way? Or is it
because I am noticing more since my perception ratings are maxed?"
Daphne looked at the avatar of herself. She thought for a second, should she play
with her own stats some more, or play with Fred, Velma, Shaggy what about
Scooby could this work on dogs? Lord
knows he would be more useful with a solid spine and some police dog training.
