"The show must go on." Zatanna Zatara whispered to herself softly as she stood at the edge of the stage. She was dressed to the nines, her stylized tux, her top hat, her fishnet stockings. There was a magic wand in her hand (just for show). "The show must go on." These were the words that she lived by. She knew something was going on with her friends, with the world even, but that was all the more reason to get through tonight. This crowd was scared and at the very least, she could entertain them, could make them forget their worries for a time, and maybe she could channel that positive energy, their applause, into her own power and that'd be enough for her to face the challenge to come. "The show much go on." She repeated a third time, and that time, she even believed it. With an exhale, she charged upon the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to... Karen?" For there was already someone on the stage, the bobbing, floating, former Power Girl, now thinking she was an airheaded, airbodied doll for Mighty Maid. Her mouth had formed a perfect o and her eyes were positively vacant. It was all in her head, though, her mind as inflated as her chest seemed to be.

That was the point. Beings such as Power Girl were infinitely powerful. They were limited, more than anything else, by their own mind, by their own concepts of power. She still had her strength and speed, of course, but the energy she channeled from the sun was now more fully directed to the idea of being a bobbing, bouncing doll, and to the air, the glorious stupefying air within her. It was an incredibly narrow, but completely specialized use of her super fast brain and her super-breath, able to do very specific things. In this case, it had blown through the crowd, leaving them vacantly staring at Zatanna and Bimbette.

The magician had, of course, seen enough. She raised the wand (out of habit) and started to unleash one of her backward spells. In an instant, however, the airhead had bobbed her way at super speed to be behind her former friend. Her arms were soft and warm, and escape was impossible. Still, a different spell could deal with it, or at least it could have if Bimbette hadn't leaned forward to blow into Zatanna's ear. With a Poof, her brain was overcome with the air and she started to giggle, a little 'o' forming on her own mouth. "Stop it," she tried to swat, but she couldn't move an inch freely, just squirm. Her eyes crossed, and the drool started to escape from that little 'o.'

Bimbette's eyes, empty as they were, flashed in triumph as she started to inhale and exhale huskily into Zatanna's ear. The magician's eyes rolled this way and that at the intake and sucking of the air. The air was overtaking her thoughts, frying her identity, her very sense of being. The squirming quickly became writhing under the torrent of it all. Bimbette's bimbo brilliance was forming words in her new puppet's head. As resistance faded, they came to the forefront, the newly ditzified victim finally blurting them out with a orgasmic glee. "annataZ si won s'ettebmiB naicigam tnatsissa eibraZ lloD."

Bimbette released her as the magic started to work. She bobbed back slowly, a creeping airhead doom, eyes wide and placid as she watched. Zatanna's proportions changed, veering towards the stereotypical. Her posture changed, becoming rigid and doll-like. The sheen of her skin became shinier. Her face became less human and more uncanny valley, her smile looking painted on. Her hair, strangely enough, looked black in some light and blonde in others. Her costume had changed completely, no longer a tux but instead a vegas showgirl's outfit, with a feather on top and sequins all around. The only thing that remained were the colors, black and white, and the stockings.

When she spoke it was a voice dripping with eagerness.  She now had a symbiotic relationship with the mind-numbing air within the former Power Girl. It possessed her doll-like form and commanded her. She was little more than its powerful, magical, enthusiastic puppet, speaking for her voiceless mistress. "Preeeesenting the most astounding being in allll the worllllld! The beautiful, bountiful, bubbly Bimbette." Zarbie Doll waved her hands at her air-filled goddess in her best Vanna White manner, before looking to the crowd with her gleeful gaze, practically falling over herself at the idea of pleasing her new owner. The magic came quick and fast and mercilessly, sweeping over the empty-headed audience. "emocleW ot reh llod noitcelloc!"
