As soon as additional guards arrived to fight off the Avengers, the abominations had changed.
Now acting little more than locusts they attacks the guards head on, the men's weapons doing nothing but pelt off the monster's hides as they were all killed and devoured. All the while Cap and the others all gave in to their hunger and ate what they could
tear off the walls and ceilings. Plastics, stone, metals, everything was torn off and shoved down their hungry maws. With every bite they grew larger, raw material digested instantly and turned into fat and muscle, growing larger and taller by the minute.
Collapsing to her knees Natasha groaned in pain, her claws at her stomach as she felt her body twist and change. Hearing bones crunch she gasped as she felt new legs began to sprout from her hips, her original ones changing to match the four new multi-jointed
limbs that each took a step and lifted her up. Now a massive 20 foot tall drider abomination she opened her six eyes and hissed, her hunger returning even greater than before.
Buckling against a stone wall Captain America gritted his fanged teeth as he felt the onward changes from eating too much. Moaning in pain he felt his neck stretch longer, the horns on his head lengthening out behind his head. Feeling pressure on his spine
he felt his tailbone lengthen and push out, growing into a thick tail that grew five, then ten, and finally twenty feet long as he slammed his new appendige on the ground. "ME KING OF MONSTERS!" Roared the former super-soldier, his balls throbbing to dump
their payload into an eager female as he leered at Miss Marvel and Spider Woman. The two going through changes of their own as were the rest of the former Avengers.

Firing a blast of radiation through the floor to get to the prison levels Radiation Man and Penance destroyed level after level leading down to the prison at the bottom. The group of Thunderbolts taking out key areas of the structure as they did it. "Do
we even have a plan? Last time we fought them Bullseye and Songbird died." Worried Penance as another floor was demolished, the sound of creaking metal and stone groaning from the water pressure. "And why are we smashing this place from the lobby down?"
"Because you idiot those things are getting worse! Before the camera's were eaten it showed they were eating EVERYTHING in sight and actually... Growing!" Huffed Moonstone, floating mere inches from the ground as the two energy users continued digging.
"We're not fighting them head on, we're going to collapse this whole place to sink into the bay."
"No fun..." Frowned MacGargan, even the symbiote on his body looked dejected as they carved closer to the monsters below. "Would have liked to fight the big one before we drown them all."
"Screw your fun Venom, we've got a job to do, if we get it done we'll be heroes... And the replacements for the old Avengers."
"Heh heh... Venom the Avenger, we like it." Smiling a chessar smile with his fanged teeth the four Thunderbolts blasted enough away to hear the tell tale signs of the structure collapsing. "That's enough, lets get to the helipad and get the hell out of here."
