His name was forgotten the the realms of time, but most called him the Mirror Mage. For he had the magical power to create any kind of enchanted mirror he put his mind to. Mirrors which could see the past or the future, mirrors to communicate over distances,
mirrors into other realms and worlds you could walk through and more.
Of special note was his twinning mirrors. Each mirror created a twin in some way or another. In many causes the mirror was enchanted to create a 'mirror' copy of a person.
The most famous was the Mirror of Morality, which created a copy which was the moral opposite of the person. Good person viewing in, would have an evil copy move out of the mirror. Evil looking in, and good coming out as well. Of course if you were close to
neutral on the morality axis, you might not see much difference to your twin.
There were other mirrors, as the mage had fun with this.
The Mirror of Ethics would split not on good and evil, but on Chaos and Order. The Mirror of Gender would create opposite gender copies.
The Mirror of Wisdom would create a wiser copy of the fool who looked at it, and a foolish copy for the wiseman who looked in.
The Mirror of Vices would create not an evil copy or good copy of those who looked in, but a copy who embraced the seven deadly sins.
The Mirror of Complete Opposites would create copy which was as opposite as possible.
The Mirror of Disagreements would create a copy which loved what the original hated and vice versa.
These are just a few of the Mirrors which the mage created, our story begins when one or more of the mirrors fall into a new world. This world being....
