Vixen smiled at the little Tantu totem necklace she had in her hand lounging on the leather couch in front of her coffee table. It was such a small necklace, being twirled between her fingers, yet it gave her the powers of any animal she chose. She could gain the strength of an elephant or the night vision of a gecko, the possibilities were endless for the beautiful heroine. Sitting around a coffee table at her own home with the other members of the League on their off hours Vixen looked up from her musing, just catching a joke Hawkgirl made that had Zatanna and Black Canary laughing.

"Hmm? What"

"I was just saying Mari, you ever let someone else use that necklace of yours? I bet you could have a lot of fun with that thing." Smiled Zatanna, swishing her drink in her hands waiting for a response.

With a smile of her own Vixen pulled the necklace off and handed it to the magician across from the table. "Go nuts, let’s see what you can come up with." Pulling the little wooden totem around her neck Zatanna thought for a brief second before an idea came to mind. ‘Chameleon!’ The green spiritual form of the little lizard poured out of the totem and enveloped her body briefly, disappearing just as quickly as it formed. With a thought she instantly changed her skin to the colour of the couch behind her, then closing her eyes she turned blue, green, and polka dotted then red checkered. The rest of the ladies laughed with each shift. "Let me try." Handing the totem to Hawkgirl the red haired woman smirked before thinking ‘Peacock‘ the spirit of the vibrant bird gave a hooting caw and enveloped her body. Looking over her shoulders her usual hawkish wings had taken on a shimmering green and blue. "Ooh I like that look h ha HUAAAAAARRRRK!"

Laughing at the squawk their friend gave Hawkgirl pouted and handed the totem to Dinah, her wings returning to normal when she passed the little wooden thing over. Black Canary eyed the thing and placed it around her neck, a giggle passing her lips when the others waited for what animal she picked… Before she started gnawing on the table.

"Beaver?! Are you shitting me?"

The whole group of women laughed out loud just as Mari tried to get her necklace back from the blonde across the table, struggling to get the thing off the two gasped when the string broke and the totem fell on the ground. "Damn! Anyone see it?" Catching their breath laughing the four women looked down and tried to feel for the small wooden thing. "Nope, did it slide under the couch or the chair?"

"Dammit! Where did it…" Standing up to move her furniture the quartet fell quite when they heard a ‘crack’ from the floor. Looking down and turning her heel Mari gasped to find her totem cracked in half under her shoe. "Uh oh!"

And with that Uh oh the four women were taken back to what came next… A royal shit storm!

Blowing the furniture back, causing the lights to flicker and pinning everyone down from the sheer force of the magical winds the totem animal spirits in the necklace exploded out and swirled around the living room like a multi-coloured tornado, all of them could be seen from a zebra, rhino and lion to an eagle, rat and fish. Millions of animal spirits started flooding out of the broken thing and angrily swirling above the four women gathering above their heads. "WHAT’S GOING ON?"

"I DON’T KNOW!" Catching the previous owner’s voice yelling over the calls and roars of the ghostly animals flying above them the millions of spirits suddenly stopped and flew straight down into Mari’s mouth, flooding straight into her body all at once and knocking her out.
