New Wendigo Island
Jen walked back to the gathered cubs. She was scared, there had been pain and terror that she had felt from her children and their cubs. Almost as quickly as it had come it had vanished. Jen made it back to the encampment when she and all her cubs stopped and felt it. Al and Monica raged and panicked, then went silent again.
“Come my cubs,” Jen ordered, she turned for a network of caves, “Hunters have come for our pack.”
She didn’t have the heart to admit that the packs had split. The Spider-Wendigo lead the way singing from the trees.

New York City.
Something had snapped Susan and Richard from their lustful haze. Both of them looked all over for the children.
“Where are they?” Susan screamed.
“I am bringing up the information on the Fantastic Car,” Reed called from the terminal, “SUE!”
Sue came, and gasped. The video had a Wendigo with green tinted hair in camera. Reed clicked play.
“Please find a way to stop us,” it was Jen Walter, or rather it had been her, “If nothing else render us un-infectious.”
Reed turned and walked off.
“Where are you going?” Sue asked.
“To the lab,” Reed declared, “To try and find a way to save our children.”
“Wait for me!” Sue followed.

“Specimen F-03 has lost all pigmentation from her hair,” Number 49 announced the observations to the recorder, “Not surprising, since her Pilots license and service records indicate she was a blonde before exposure. M-07’s skin is taking a most peculiar ‘ashy’ nature. It should be noted that M-07 was an African-American Male before exposure.”
“Don’t forget to time stamp your observations Number 49,” her pilot called back.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters
“Play the video again,” Director Hill said, “Tell me what you see Special Agent Gorel in charge.”
“That would appear to be a Monica Walters,” Gorel narrated the video from the cockpit of the shuttle, “It is clear that every member of the tactical team and the flight crew were attacked, infected and are now enthralled by the subjects Albert and Monica Walters. Fast Forwarding, the team and crew boarded the air craft and were shot down.”
“Agent Morgan?” Director Hill prompted.
“Those would be Advanced Idea Mechanics agents in their level 5 Hazardous Materials and Contaminated Environment Operations Suit,” Agent Morgan said, “ They are rated for all known bands of radiation up to two hundred and fifty thousand mSv/h. That is more than enough to walk in an atom bomb crater right after the blast, but not enough to walk into the Chernobyl core itself. Self-contained air supplies and anti-wolverine grade armor so in theory they are completely safe from exposure.”
“In theory?” one of the other senior special agents asked.
“They aren’t in space,” Agent Morgan said flatly, “How much are you willing to bet that the people in those suits will be tempted to take them off if they find the contamination isn’t airborne or radiological?”

The New Den, New Wendigo Island
The Spider Wendigo Ben was cuddling Jen while his sister April was fucking David Drew and May was licking at Joan’s increasingly furry snatch. Carl had taken Val and Frank to learn to hunt in order to feed the pack. Jen let her eyes half close and reached out with her mind to try and find her children. Their minds were silent as if they were out cold. She did feel Carl, Val and Frank’s excitement and concern. They had caught a metal bird. Val and Frank had disabled it and taken it apart to quickly for the people who sent it to know what happened. Jen rose up and looked to the entrance.
“Queen,” Val bounded in shortly after with a panel of metal, “We are not alone here!”
Jen looked at the sheet. There was a pattern etched on it. It formed what almost looked like a stylized A or Omega symbol. But next to it was a burn mark.
“This drone was shot down by A.I.M. my Queen,” Frank remarked.
