Laura rolled her eyes. She loved Jubilee like a sister, but she got bitchy when she was nervous. Watching May and April stroll by, however, gave her an idea.
"Hey," she said. "April and May are from the future, right?"
Jubilee was busy moping, so all she could bring herself to muster was a "So?"
"Well then, maybe they'll know how you did?"
Jubilee perked right up. "That's a great idea, Wolvie! You're a genius!"
Laura shrugged. "What can I say, I'm the best there is at what I do."
They sauntered over to the twins who were excitedly talking about next weekend, and the requisite visit with their parents. More precisely, they were looking forward to showing their parents all the nifty sexual tricks they'd learned. Jubilee just bulled right
in.
"Hey future-chicks, I gotta question for you!"
The twins looked at here. April rolled her eyes. "Oh, this'll be good." May shushed her sister, and then gave Jubilee an attentive look. "Yeah, Jubes?"
"Since you're from the future and all, could you maybe tell me how I did?"
They looked at each other again, and then shrugged.
"Not really," April said.
"We know that you become a proper X-Whore," May explained. "But we don't know when exactly. Could be you make it this year, could be later. Sorry."
Jubilee's face fell. "Oh," was all she said.
