By the time she walked into the studio proper, she looked like a new woman: a gorgeous mulatto club rat with a body that made Kim Kardashian look like Kate Moss, frosted cornrows and a brassy attitude. There were a group of other girls milling about near
the stage. She sauntered over to the signup table.
"Name?" the casting director asked.
"MJ Parker," she said confidently. "M-Jane at the club."
The director looked through a pile of headshots. He looked at the photo, then the girl. "You don't look anything like your picture. Oh well. Get in group B. You know how to dance, right?"
MJ laughed. "Sure, holmes. You don't get an ass like this and not know how to shake it."
She lined up with the other girls and some thumping ryhthms began to blare over the sound system. Her body went into automatic, writhing, bumping and grinding the other girls to the beat. Her hips and ass wriggled like a bellydancer's as she let the music

"Great work, ladies," the casting director said. "When I call out your name, line up along the wall." He began to list off names, and M-Jane grinned when she heard hers. She strutted over. Only two other girls had made it out of about twenty. She couldn't
