Throughout the cosmos there is a legend of a streak of energy coursing through the boundless confines of space it has many names but the only one that is capable of being translated into English is "The light of creation".
The light streaks through the galaxies... where it came from is unknown. Some say it was residual energy from the big bang and has existed since the dawn of this universe... other stories think it was an ancient empire's last ditch effort to save itself from catacylsm, others think it was a civilization's hubris attempting to create a cosmic cube that went wrong... others think it was a weapon... and well others think it's a contrived plot device to explain the unexplainable.
Whatever the truth the light of creation's impact is unmistakable... if it shines upon a planet whichever being is first hit with its light will gain the power to alter the very fabric of reality to whatever their whim may be for the fleeting moments it shines. They may not even be aware that they are the catalyst... but the change to their planet is unmistakable. Empires have fallen, revolutions halted, populations boomed... entire course of galactic history drastically altered just from the minor thoughts imbued by a simple source of unspeakable energy.
Today, the light shines down upon a small blue green planet in the Milky Way called Earth....
