Peter hated to do this, but he looked at her, "We? Need? What do you mean?"
Power Girl continued, her voice becoming much more solumn, "Whatever showed us we love you, made us part of you, gives us a need to make you happy. It's why people like Reed and the others are working themselves to death, why the villains are feeling suicidal because they think they did something wrong, why so many women like myself are questioning if we're pretty or good enough for you."
Peter mentally jerked as he looked at the people under his command through his mental link, revealing the fact the people were having such feelings. Worse, there were a few other ideas emerging on how to get his attention and happiness. His blocking out his 'flock' was causing them just as much harm as the power removing their will. It seemed their was no good choices. Do nothing and avoid them was as bad as taking advantage of them. Which caused him to revisit his decisions and make a new one.
"Okay..." he said looking at the beautiful alien blonde, who began to smile as the world brightened, "I'm ready for you guys to make me happy. But we avoid getting too many more people seeing me then there has to be. Alright?"
"Of course. We can either teleport to the new home we have made for you, to avoid people and keep those who aren't one of use away. Or... we can teleport once I can managed to make you happy. Very happy I hope."
She moved in and kissed him passionately, making him feel a bit good. He could sense things as he convinced the scientist and mages working on things to rest. To convince the villains they were making him proud as they tried to help. Made his flock know he was proud and happy with him. And especially mad all of the sexy ladies, from the supers to the former lovers to celebrities under his power know he found the gorgeous and loved them. That took a second as he returned the kiss he was given.
