In the future, as before a "Battle of Armageddon" occurred. The last battle saw Shao Kahn win, and I had to send a message back through time to my former self, changing the past. Again, it appears the last attempt to stop Shao Kahn failed. This time, I went even further back, to ensure that Kahn would never rise. It appears to have worked, but great changes have occurred.
A great enemy, Kotal Kahn has taken his namesakes place. Though he is not related to Shao, many believe this to be so. Long ago, Earthrealm primitives whorshipped him as a Sun God. He is no god, merely a usurper to the throne....
Now I sit at a council of Outworld's most powerful factions. To my right sits Kitana and the Edenian council, along with Jaqui Briggs and the woman known as Gekco, a half saurian who helps their cause. Jaqui is looking for her father, Jax, who went missing after attempting to avenge the death of Sonya Blade.
Speaking of this heinous, Goro sits with his generals, and at his side is Lamina, the black ninja, who murdered Sonya Blade. With her help, Goro has defeated the centaurs and united the Shokan after the death of his father.
Across from them is Mileena, and her slave, a large man covered in black, but he merely goes by "Gimp". Her forces are perhaps DARKER than even Kotal's. But to defeat this menace, we must join together.
