We Start with Hydra refurbishing a castle for the Red Skull to hide in.  The Justice League and SHIELD had done a rather bit of damage on the last safe castle.  In fact the only thing that had been standing when they were done was a port-a-potty next to a guard shack outside. 

"Hail Hydra!" the soldiers shouted as Red Skull walked in the castle's great hall.

"Leave me," Red Skull shouted.

No one remained, the anger and irritation of the founder was legendary and very evident at the moment.  Stalking around the room, the Red Skull took inventory of what was at hand.  One thing stood out.  Someone had cloaked a standing mirror with a tapestry and then bound it with metal bars.  Looking closer, Red Skull found Latin and Norse writing embroidered on the tapestry.

Look not at this mirror less your reflection join you

What on earth was this rubbish about.  Pulling the old SS dagger Red Skull slashed the tapestry open and looked at the old mirror inside.  The silver below had faded somewhat but he could still see himself.  It might have been a bit cloudy but ....
