Joker is being watched. Joker cackled as the last of the JLA went down. It had only taken a few minutes for his team to beat the heroes. Kneeling down to inspect the unconscious body of Wonder Woman, he didn't notice a movement behind him. After motioning for his servants to collect the bodies, he started to walk back towards his base. Along the way, Lex Luthor was watching him with a spy drone. He had been spying on Superman, but then had seen the ambush. He had also seen Joker's servants, and was instantly interested. Since only Superman knew his schemes, Luthor made a crafty plan.

In New York City, Jessica Drew a.k.a Spider Woman was worried. An X-Men and several other heroes had disappeared lately, and now cities were being infested with crime. Since she was a detective in her civilian life, she decided to investigate what was happening. After informing the Avengers, she traveled to Metropolis, where Supergirl and the JLA were last seen, and where the Joker was currently hiding. She had made plans to meet with a top business man who also had been investigating the disappearences, Lex Luthor. Luthor had just received a call from her, and although he didn't need help, he figured that she would serve as a distraction.

Meanwhile, the Joker had been looking over his new prisoners. He had let Harely play with some of them, but he wasn't that interested himself. Joker decided that they would rest for a few days, before moving out. He was tired from running from authorities, but he knew that they would come investigating. He devised a ploy and called Batgirl to the room. The clowny heroine looked like a female version of the Joker, and didn't resist when Joker started to strip off her clothes. The makeup and hair dye was washed off, revealing her orange hair and smooth face that the Joker had transformed. Joker nodded, satisfied that Batgirl would appear normal once again. He gave her a set of clothes, and her old uniform. He sent her off with Harely to the police station, knowing that the officers would be entranced by the chemicals he had given her. He sat down after they left, and laughed when he saw the JLA being tortured by his team.

In a large building, Lex Luthor sat waiting for his guest to arrive. Jessica had just flown to the city, and was meeting with the clever villain. He had been watching the Joker for a while, and knew where his base was. He hadn't been surprised when he'd seen the Joker's mind controlling chemicals. Luthor had developed some too, but hadn't had a chance to use them. Then the door opened, and a stunning woman came in.

"Are you Lex Luthor?" Jessica asked.

He nodded, and began to talk.

"I've been worrying for sometime about Superman. He hasn't been seen for a few days, and now criminals are beginning to become bolder." He lied to her.

Jessica explained her theories, but Luthor shook his head. In his mind, he thought of ways to use her as a ploy. If she could distract the Joker, then he could take care of the mind controlled heroines and place them under his control. He also knew that Batgirl had gone to take over the police, they would need to be on Lex's side if he wanted to defeat the Joker. Standing up, he told the black haired heroine where the base was. At first, she was suspicious, but soon thanked him. As she left, Lex knew that the detective was hiding something from him. She was too gorgeous to be a ordinary inspector. Opening up a secret panel, he sent a spy droid after her, and watched her go into a hotel. Then he saw her take out a Spider Woman costume, and smiled. This time, he would put a heroine under his control.

Just as she was about to fly off, Jessica heard a knocking on her door. She quickly took her costume off, and was surprised to see Luthor at the door, accompanied by some guards. He quickly pushed her down, and his guards surrounded her. Knowing that her cover had been blown, she tried to blast them away, but she was to slow. Luthor knocked her out, and brought her body to his laboratory.

Joker smiled when Babara came back, holding a police badge. He brought her to his room, explaining that he had sent his other servants to do certain duties. Stroking her orange hair, he led her to a room where she was rewarded. In another room, Superman groaned as Kara touched him again, he hadn't known that she could do this. He felt her blonde hair on his face, and then flinched as she massaged him. She was scarecly clothed, and close to enthralling the hero. Then her sleek body went on top of him, and all other thoughts were lost except to please his cousin. Kara smiled as she unchained him, and led him out of the room as he stared hypnotically at her.
