Both ladies followed after the Empress after placing the clone Wonderboy 111 in the cell. She slowly led them up countless stairs and eventually leading them to the control as promised.

Meanwhile in the control room Marthas evil futuristic clone the Amazing Mistress had opened a large temporal portal in the center of the room.

Time to ensure the future, said black villainess as she prepared to step through.

Stop! yelled Amazing Woman as she lunged into the control room.

Amazing Woman, said Amazing Mistress in surprise, Im surprised you escaped so quickly!

Clone, this ends now, said Martha.

Never, yelled Amazing Mistress as lunged towards Amazing Woman. She threw herself ontop of her and they both fell to the ground wrestling. Then Empress and Mary Langstrom ran into the room.

Clones, ordered Amazing Mistress wrapping her arm around Amazing Womans neck cutting off her air, Stop those two while finish this one off!

Twelve pods in the room opened and out stepped various Amazing Woman clones. They leered towards Polaski and Mary.

NO! yelled Martha as she slammed her elbow hard into Amazing Mistress stomach. The clone lost her grip and Amazing Woman broke free.

Amazing Woman quickly pushed Amazing Mistress onto one the control panels in the room. As Amazing Mistress started to get up she accidentally pressed a large red button on the panel. It was the self-destruct for all the clones.

NOOOO! Amazing Mistress cried.

Amazing Mistress turned her attention towards the clones battling the Empress and Mary Langstrom. The clones were melting as their DNA became unsteady. They literally fell apart into globs of mud.

You pressed the self-destruct button, said Polaski, The clones all of them are dying!

Does that include the ones in the past too, asked Mary.

Polaski froze as she thought that possibility over. If so it would mean that the dark future she had helped create would soon be erased.

In the past

Amazing Girl stepped back into the other room where she left Wonderboy 35. His forehead appeared to be sweating, but then Sasha realized that wasnt sweat. He was melting! His body turned into a poodle of goo.

Shame, I kinda liked him, she sighed.

At the Amazing Lair

Daniel Devoe looked at the pile of mud that was once Amazing Woman 34. The clone was dead.

I guess this means Martha won, he said to himself, I just hope she comes back in one piece!

In the future

NOOOOOO!!!!! cried Amazing Mistress as her body became more translucent. She hissed, It cant end like this! I cant.

Amazing Mistress never got to finish that line before fading away completely into nothingness.

I guess thats the end of her, said Martha. Then she realized that walls of the Amazing Fortress were dissolving as well!

Great Scott! Amazing Woman yelled, The entire fortress is dissolving as well! Destroying all the clones must have somehow put into monition the erasing of this entire timeline! We got get out of here now before were erased with it!

Without saying a single word further Amazing Woman, Mary Langstrom, and the Empress jumped into the temporal portal that the Amazing Mistress had created earlier.

Amazing Woman and crew fell through the wormhole returning them to their proper timeline. However as they journeyed through the timestream the wormhole itself began to dissolve.

The wormhole is collapsing, screamed the Empress before

The temporal portal savagely ripped opened before Amazing Girl. She smiled as Amazing Woman and Mary Langstrom, were thrown out as they re-entered the past. Sasha saw the Empress coming too, but the portal collapsed before she reached the exit.

Well, look whos back! Sasha grinned happily.

Sasha?! Martha gasped as she got back to her feet, You werent erased?!

Nope, smiled Sasha, I knew there was chance my timeline could be erased, so I covered my body with temporal shielding before coming to this timeline. It protected me.

Wheres the Empress, asked Mary getting back to her feet.

The Empress, said Sasha sadly, She didnt make it!

The cosmic being known only as the Oracle was looking down on the planet called Earth. She had sensed that a temporal paradox threatened Earths future. But now the danger was gone, the mortals of that world somehow fixed and repaired the damage without the Oracles help. Earths future was again a clean slate.

Amazing how mortals can reshape their own destinies, said the Oracle to herself as she loomed over the cosmos, Perhaps they are even more powerful then even they can possibly imagine.

After the Amazing Woman dropped Mary Langstrom home, Martha drove Sasha to the train station. Sasha was now dressed in normal street clothes.

Thanks for the clothes Mom, said Sasha as she got out of the car and swung the bag over her shoulder.

Ughhh sure, said Martha. She felt uneasy about Sasha calling her that even though she knew it wasnt so, So where will you go now?

Havent really thought that part over yet, mused Sasha, Some place I can make a big for myself and have a lot of fun along the way!

Whatever, said Martha before driving off.

Hmmm, said Sasha as she looked at the list of cities that train station could take her to, Where to go? West Side City? New Chester? Sabre City? Zodiac City? Or all of the above?

Sasha giggled to herself as she got into line to by her ticket. One thought remained in her head, who knows what the future holds?
