It has been quite a long while since Crystal--one of a group of super-powered beings known as the Inhumans--has allowed herself to set foot into the world of normal humans and discover that she had fallen in love with a young and handsome stud named Johnny Storm(aka The Human Torch of the Fantastic Four),only to have her sister Medusa and silent brother-in-law Black Bolt order Triton,Gorgon and Karnak to go find her and drag her back to the hidden city.

Ever since her return to the hidden city,an ashamed Crystal has promised her sister and brother-in-law that even though she still has the love of Johnny Storm in her heart,she would never disobey the laws of the hidden city ever again,but that was before an insane Inhuman named Maximus the Mad has demanded either one of two things from his slient brother:Surrender the leadership of the entire Inhuman race or allow him to take Crystal's hand in marriage.

Now let me tell you right now that even though she was in full agreement with both Black Bolt and Medusa that the mad Inhuman was trully unfit to be ruler of the entire Inhuman race,a horrified Crystal really doesn't wish to placed in a forced marriage with Maximus.

And so,instead of letting her objections heard by Black Bolt and Medusa after she had realized that they would force her into marrying Maximus anyway,a saddened Crystal has removed the ring with the sign of the house of Black Bolt on it,looked at it with a single tear running down her cheek for a minute or two and placed it on her bed.

And after she had quietly stepped out of her bed chamber and made her way to the entrance of the hidden city,she had hidden herself behind a wall and waited for the guards to move themselves away from the entrance.

And after they had done so,Crystal had quickly ran over to the entrance,opened it and leaped herself back into the outside world just before the hidden city entrance had closed itself up behind her and she had started to run as far away from the hidden city as her own legs could carry her.

Just then,inside the Baxter Building--headquarters of the team of super-heroes known as the Fantastic Four--within the City of New York on March 8th,a certain Johnny Storm was having the time of his life,because both the team's leader,Reed Richards(aka Mister Fantastic)and his beloved wife,Susan Storm Richards(aka the Invisible Woman)had gone to Chicago for a science convention and Reed's old college buddy,Benjamin J. Grimm(aka the Thing)has gone to look-up a few old Army buddies,leaving Johnny with the whole place to himself.
