Weirdest Invasion - Part 8

Vandal Savage grinned as his forces closed on the source of the energy that had transformed Earth's heroes and villains.

"You're sure the machinery is behind this door?", Savage as Green Lantern as she scanned the door with her power ring.

"Bombshell....dispose of the door please.", Savage said simply.

The tall brunette in a skimpy white string bikini walked forward and ripped the door off it's hinges with a searing blast of energy from her fists. She had been the male teenage hero Damage until Savage had "recruited" her. Her increase in age had augmented her powers and she had none of the self-doubt that had plagued her as a boy.

They walked into a massive room filled with machines. There were four machines with women strapped to each.

Savage knew all four by their reputation. The pink woman had to be Klaw, the self-proclaimed Master of Sound. The aliens had turned him into a huge-breasted woman and placed him within the machine to create the sound that controlled their transformees. Klaw didn't notice as they approached, she almost seemed to be in a state of ecstasty.

He turned and smirked at a woman covered in fur. From the shade of that fur he realized she must be the Mandrill. Ironic it seemed for a man whoose power allowed him to control women should become a woman being controlled. She also wore a constant smile and seemed as unaware as Klaw.

The next was a Genoshan called Pipeline. Once male she was now a stunning blonde who dangled mindlessly in her machine.

The last was one Savage knew all too well.....the so-called Incredible Hulk.

The former monster now looked like a larger version of the She-Hulk. Of all of the prisoners she seemed to be the only one somewhat conscious to their presence.

"What is all of this?", The Flash asked as she looked around.

Flux spoke before Savage could. The golden-skinned woman seemed fascinated, "These are the machines they used to transform and control everyone. The one called Pipeline is digitizing their sound waves to be broadcast within the atmosphere. They seem to be using the Hulk's gamma rays for their gender modification system."

"Indeed.", High Admiral Nendoc snorted as he stepped into the room behind them with a dozen armed men, "And since you seemed so fascinated with it Savage let it's next target be you."

The machine buzzed and lashed a bolt of energy at Savage but Green Lantern's ring covered him with a dome to protect him.

"Kill them!", Nendoc howled.

The Host fired as one but their beams were turned aside just as easily. Then their weapons were grabbed by the Flash and Reverse-Flash (formerly Jesse Quick).

"Now my alien friend I have the world in my hands.", Savage laughed.....a moment before the ship lurched to the side and sent them all tumbling against the walls.

Outside the ship---

Wonder Man punched the ship again in rage even as Iron Man's pulse bolts slammed against their hull. Few ships could take their combined attack at once, and that didn't include Magneto tearing their ship apart with her magnetic powers. Hourman was using his time-vision to decay their engines so thar escape would be impossible. And Maxima was reading the mind of those within to determine their next move.

"I'll kill them...each and every one.", she growled.

Magneto nodded. Like Maxima she'd only recently regained her full mental control. Now in space they were free of the sound that had been controlling them, but even now they remained somewhat altered. Once the X-Men had been her greatest enemies but now all Magneto could think of was hoping that Gambit was all right.

Iron Man's sensors locked onto a power signature and he blasted a way into the ship where Magneto had already weakened their hull. He'd scanned for life signs in this area of the ship and found none before his attack.

Once they were inside and had sealed the hull breach he spoke, "I'm getting some strange gamma signals from the middle of the ship. My guess is that must be where their machine is. Wonder Man you take point with Magneto. Maxima keep your mental shields up in case they attack us with a telepath."

Maxima nodded although she hated taking orders from an Earthman.

Back in the machine room---

Savage glanced at his slaves but they were all still either unconscious or dazed by their impact with the deck and walls. He turned just as the alien machine blasted him point blank.

"No!", he screamed in rage as massive breasts ripped his shirt apart.

His ass swelled round and fleshy even as his legs slimmed in muscle. All of the hair on his body save for that in certain areas fell out. He shrank smaller even as nearly all of his muscle mass dwindled. His black hair grew until it brushed the middle of his back. His breasts were well into the alphabet in cup size and his hips seemed far too wide.

"You would have won this battle mortal....but fate seems to be on my side this day. And now you will serve me.", Nendoc chuckled as Savage's mind dimmed until she kneeled before him.

With Savage defeated the Titans regained their minds and stirred to see a group of aliens about to blast them with lasers.

But before anyone could fire the alien's weapons floated out of their grasp and sailed across the room...until they clattered at the feet of five men and women.

Nendoc turned and frowned, "More Earthlings!? But our cloak should be in place."

Iron Man nodded, "It was. But the energy you used during your battle with Savage must have been intense. My sensors read it and Maxima pinpointed the position with her telepathy. After that it was just a matter of finding your machines."

"I can change you just as easily as I did her.", Nendoc said while lifting Savage's chin with a finger.

The machine in question shattered into a million pieces, as did the three others, with a mere glance from Magneto.

Nendoc backed up as the crimson clad Magneto strode towards him. He'd heard tales of these Earth heroes but to see them up close...their power defied description! Perhaps they should have incapacitated all the major heroes and villains before starting their plans.

"Change us back to our rightful forms our die.", Magneto said with a scowl as she levitated the alien with her magnetic powers.

Nendoc spat in her face, "You fools think we will surrender? Your fate is sealed Earthling...even if you defeat us I have already laid the seeds for our next invasion force! With so many of you changed you won't stand a chance against my comrades when they arrive!"

"And when would that be?", Iron Man asked.

Nendoc snorted, "As if I would tell you!"

Cyborg, who despite still being a buxom golden-skinned woman now possessed her former mine, tapped into the ship's computers.

"She's telling the truth about one thing. They released something the moment they knew we were onboard. I'm not too clear about what.....one seems to be some sort of superman project where they gave one of their own soldiers an immense amount of power....he seems to be codenamed Commander. The other release is weird...almost seems as if it's human from the scans I see in their record logs. And there were dozens of them.", she mused.

Nendoc tapped a button on his wristband and an explosion rocked the ship. He used the momentary diversion to race for an escape pod....only to have a massive green hand grasp his throat with a force that made his eyes nearly pop out.

When the smoke cleared he saw the Hulk holding him off the ground. The former male had regained her mind and with it the rage at what they'd done to her.

"I'm gonna kill you slow.", the woman growled as she tightened her hold on his windpipe.

Nendoc began to spasm as he strained to get even a breath of air but his struggles only made the Hulk squeeze tighter. With a sickening crack his neck snapped like a twig and he died a moment later.

The Hulk tossed him aside like garbage just as the other heroes regained their senses long enough to see what had happened.

"Was that neccesary?", Iron Man asked while indicating Nendoc's dead form.

"Don't preach to me Iron Man!", the Hulk howled in rage, "You have no idea what he did to me....to us."

Magneto levitated the other prisoners towards them even as Maxima scanned their minds.

"They were tortured....sexually as well as mentally.", Maxima said with a grimace, "It continued until they broke them so that they didn't even need mind-control."

The Hulk frowned, "They kept me gassed just enough that I couldn't fight back. And this asshole did the torture personally."

"The machines are down...so why is Savage still acting like a giggling idiot?", Starfire asked as she looked at the woman Savage now was.

Iron Man mused, "They must have hit him with such a strong mental control at so close a distance that his mind was permanently altered. She might recover over time but I'm not sure. Most of those who were controlled on Earth for this time will suffer similar effects since they were under control for so long."

Green Lantern grimaced as she remembered what she'd done under Savage's control. She turned her ring upon the Titans and transformed all of them back to normal. But when she tried to restore herself nothing happened.

"Why can't I change myself back?", she asked in confusion.

Maxima concentrated for a moment and frowned, "The mental control Savage used on you seems to have changed you slightly. You can't seem to picture yourself as you were thus your ring cannot restore you. Like most of the others your mind should heal in time....until then I'm afraid you're going to be like the rest of us."

Green Lantern grimaced at her voluptuous form and changed it to a full body suit rather than the nearly swimsuit version it had been.

Another explosion sounded from the rear of the ship and Cyborg frowned as he tapped into the computer again.

"Whatever that guy did earlier seems to have activated the self-destruct for the ship. It also sent a distress signal to their fleet. We need to get out of here quick.", he yelled.

Green Lantern encased them all in a spaceship created by her mind then blasted through the hull to allow them to escape the dying ship. They were well on their way to Earth when the great ship finally exploded.

"Not exactly a victory.", Magneto frowned a she pulled her cloak closed over her body.

Iron Man frowned beneath his mask, "We won for the moment. But I've got a feeling that the objects they released before we arrived are going to test that. In the end we might have just earned ourselves a respite until the true enemy arrives."

Brendel, Wyoming----

Darpun Vertan frowned as he looked around a the wilderness around him. He'd hoped to see some of these humans that had destroyed his friends. But at the moment he seemed to be hundreds of miles from any human civilization.

He longed to test his abilities against the Earth heroes. His powers had been designed to make them helpless against him even as his strength and speed had been augmented to levels he could still barely believe. He allowed himself to levitate and then fly through the night sky. This planet was indeed a beautiful one he mused as he flew over the countryside, a shame it was inhabited by these humans.

He knew what his role was. He was to create chaos along with the other experiment that his people had been working on. He didn't have truly destructive powers other than his vast strength but what powers he did possess would create fear and terror among the people of this planet.

The others would as well. They were clones of the heroes they had controlled, although their powers were mutated in strange ways.The clones were only designed to last a short time, until the second invasion force arrived.

He landed and smiled as a group of humans came down what appeared to be a road. They were driving some ancient form of transport that required combustion it seemed. He shifted his form into that of a human male and smiled as they approached. He would be more than happy to start his reign of terror with these poor fools.

He had been the first of his comrades to sign up for the Project: Commander experiments and now his courage had been rewarded. While the other members of his ship had been killed when their starship had exploded he alone remained to carry on their mission. The clones were merely distractions, he was the true reason for the heroes to fear.

A grin played across his face as he got into the back of the human's truck. Soon this world would find out just what he could do.
