The Blob looked at his hands, feeling the power surging through his fat body. Oh, the fun he could have with this.
He didn't know where the man had come from, or why he had given him this ability, but he knew that he was going to have some fun with it.
But he knew he had to be careful. He needed to be sure that the powers would work before he made his major play against the X-Men for revenge.
He needed an experiment. A test subject, as it were.
As he wandered down the street, people scattering from his path as he ignored them. He tapped his chins thoughtfully, thinking of female heroines he knew off.
Which were unfortunately all part of supergroups with heroes capable of beating the tar out of him, capable of beating the tar out of him on their own before his secondary new powers could kick in, or both.
He knew he needed a street-level heroine. Someone tough, but not too powerful.
His attention was drawn to a bank robbery being foiled, the criminals yelping in pain as Tigra beat the everloving crap out of them, hanging them by their underwear from a light pole. She then waited as the police arrived and gave a full report, convincing
several witnesses to come forward and testify, promising to come forward and testify herself. Blob blinked, wondering why a superhero would do that, but then remembered that her identity was public and she was one of the ones that cooperated with the Superhero
Registration Act before it was vetoed.
He grinned, rubbing his thick hands together. She'd be perfect...
