After the particles settled the former Wrecking Crew found themselves transformed into the Sons of Liberty: the Wrecker's purple gloves, boots and mask were replaced with blue with a star on the tops of his boots, the backs of his gloves and his forehead, while the green jumpsuit was tuned into white and red stripes. Bulldozer's orange tights likewise turned white and red while his metal harness changed from a gunmetal gray to a navy blue with the rivets painted white. Thunderball's yellow mask was now blue with a string of stars around the collar his spandex were now red and white striped like the others, his wrecking ball now had a red U a white S and a blue A pained on it. Piledriver's uniform was the least changed, the only notable differences being the addition of stars to his blue boots and the large gold eagle printed on his chest. Once the Sons of Liberty took in their new appearance they looked to the nearby flag placed their right hands over their hearts and said in unison "My country right or wrong, if right to be kept right, if wrong to be set right!"
"Could you boy keep it down?" the old man said again.
"My apologies good citizen we didn't realize we were disturbing you" the new Wrecker said as he waved to the old man "we'll take the rest of our celebration inside."
The old man returned to his desk and thought **if the grenades worked so well on the Wrecking Crew I wonder how it'll work on those other costumed characters** the old man had a sizable list of superheroes that he felt weren't patriotic enough, but where to start?
