Nelly Webb decided to first research a bride who was a respected public figure and well-known among the superhero/villain community who could also afford the cost of two extravagant ceremonies. She could afford to go through a list of potential
The first names that made it to her list of potential candidates were world-famous superheroines. Princess Diana of Themyscira, Wonder Woman, and her sister Donna were royalty and offered Nelly Webb a rare opportunity as a royal wedding always brought a lot
of attention. The same went for princess Koriand'r of Tamaran, the heroine Starfire.
Other famous superheroines included Susan "Invisible Woman" Storm, Carol "Captain Marvel" Danvers and Jennifer "She-Hulk" Walters. Zatanna Zatara, in addition to being a superheroine, was a famous stage magician. All four of them were very popular among the
public and the superhero community. A lesser known candidate could be Cassandra "Black Bat" Cain, as her adoptive father Bruce Wayne was one of the wealthiest men on Earth.
Mari "Vixen" McCabe and Beatriz "Fire" da Costa were both superheroines and supermodels. The later always managed to attract the richest grooms. Speaking of models, Mary Jane Watson, although not a superhero, was very well-known among them and would make an
excellent candidate, as well as Daily Planet's star reporter Lois Lane for the same reason.
The business world wasn't devoid of possible candidates. Carol "Star Sapphire" Ferris ran her family's business, Talia Head, or Talia al Ghul, was one of the biggest shareholders of LexCorp and Virginia "Pepper" Potts, a non-superhero, had earned a large fortune
working as Iron Man's secretary and personal assistant.
Nelly Webb certainly didn't lack potential brides for her project of a "public" plus "superhero/villain" wedding ceremonies.
