Charles Xavier was sitting in his office, alone. He was re-reading one of his favorite books, 'The once and Future King' in the rare moment of downtime. Between all the craziness that had been going on recently, with the return of two dead students, the disappearance and reappearance of Nori and Xi'an,and the strange psychic energy he had sensed, he felt he needed a mental break from everything.
“Evening, Professor,” a voice chirped from the ceiling. He cast his eyes upwards, revealing a smiling Jubilee. The change in her outward personality over the past few days was very welcoming, the most welcoming change in a long while. Before, she had been very cold and isolated from the other students. Which was only natural, seeing how her Vampiric condition set her apart from them all.
And the reaction from other students had not helped. Charles knew full well that some of them where of the opinion that Jubilee should be locked away, or put down. This had,understandably, caused a huge rift within the faculty as well. Some of them wanted to ban her from the school grounds, while Logan and Ororo defended her position with passion.
“Jubilation,” Charles said as he closed his book, and set it aside. “How are you?” He asked the upside-down young woman.
“Much better,” she replied as she flipped herself down to the ground. As she landed, she stretched her arms out, showing off her new red-themed wardrobe. While it wasn't nearly as vibrant as her wardrobe from a few years ago, it still bore her spunk and attitude. “Better than I have in a long time,Professor.” She said as she flashed a toothy smile.
“I can't tell you how pleased I am tohear that,” Charles replied in a fatherly tone of voice. “Have you re-considered the possibility of joining in on classes once more?” After she had been bitten, Jubilee, as well as all the teachers, agreed that she shouldn't participate in classes, for her own safety, and the safety of the other students. Because they all knew, if she lost controll, very few teachers would really be able to stop her.
“Maybe not yet,” she replied as she leaned against the desk, slightly thrusting her chest out towards him. “I don't want to inconvenience others by forcing all the blinds to be shut all the time. But, at least there's astronomy!”She chirped, as she leaned in even more. Almost as if she was presenting herself to him. He backed away, as she made eye contact with him. At that point, he began to feel the psychic presence again.This time, it was stronger than before. He knew that he would be able to find it if he got to Cerebro in time.
“Excuse me,” he said as he wheeled himself around the desk. “There is something I must take care of first. I would-” He was stopped in his tracks as Jubilee placed her hands on either side of his wheelchair. She spun him around, and flashed a smile his way once more. Only this one was much less warm and inviting. Her stare was much more like the kind that someone would have while staring at their favorite dish.
“I can't let you do that,” Jubilee stated as her eyes seemed to draw him in. All thoughts of resistance seemed to ebb away from his mind. He couldn't control it. He knew heneeded to get out of there, but he didn't want to leave. “I need you to do me a favor,” she smirked, as she bared her teeth one last time.

Logan stumbled through the door, barely supporting his own weight, due to the amount of alcohol flowing through his body. Behind him, Kitty, Rachel and Hope followed suit,each in various states of drunkenness. He saw Kitty literally phase through her door, falling as she did so, before turning into his own room.
He hit the bed without even looking around. Because if he had, he would have seen the Two Cuckoos posing against the wall. And he certainly would have seen Jean Grey close his door behind him.
