The heroes were dosed with multiple strains in their bodies. The chronic strains of Sex Appeal, Reverse Flu, Inspiration, Charisma, Coolness, Popularity and Luck, as well as combined strains and some unlisted in-development posi-viruses. Once in the body of the two heroes, many of them infected the same cells. The chemicals used to genetically bond the viruses, a substance name Mixmaster which could fuse non-human DNA like the viruses, started to merge and mutate the strains.
What was created was two similar super-strain viruses. It merged Sex Appeal (making those attracted to or attractive to the infected become more lustful, loving and assertive), Reverse Flu (making the infected feel happy and a sense of well-being), Inspiration (the infected develop new ideas quickly), Charisma (people would look up to them, idolize them and follow the into hell), Coolness (they would seem the most hip and up to date people, the start of all trends), Popularity (people would like and/or love them, even their most hated enemies or fiercest rivals) and Luck (about to make billion to one chances come up every time, in their favour of course). As well as unknown viruses which could cause positive effects.
Their bodies had other effects on the viruses. For Batman, his perfect of body and mind somehow merged with his strain. It would cause people infected to build their physical stats faster, increase their mental stats faster by learning quicker and easier. For Wonder Woman, the blessing of her patron goddesses have merged with the virus, letting the infected gain those abilities. More, they could spread the virus strains with contact with bodily fluids. Only a one to five perfect per each contact with body fluid.
In other words, as the heroes had been teleported to the medical bay, they contained the first STD which people would want to catch.
