Clark knows there's no way he should use something like this without making sure it's safe, so the only possibility is to test on himself first.  He try something small first, he changes his hair color to blonde.  He moves quickly to a mirror and it shocked when he sees that his hair is now blonde, then he smiles, this will definitely help him save the world.
