Aeris awoke in a grassy plains, shined and immersed in neutrality. All seemed quite so quiet and serene. The sky was blanketed indigo and azure.
Besides the sky, everything that surround her was only about 38% visible. It was amazing at what she should barely manage to even see now.
"Aghh... What's going on?" Aeris said, as she first found herself with her hand on the right side of her face, with herself bend over slightly and half-kneeling with her left knee being the one touching the ground.
Suddenly from nowhere, a distinct-like step came for a series behind her distally.
As Aeris turned to see at what she had heard, the figure suddenly rushed forward at her.
"Gaah! Wh-.. What the hell is this?!" she exclaimed, as she coiled her hands up to herself.
Somehow, the figure vanished with a 'fwoom!'.
"Wha...just happened?" she said to herself.
Astonishingly, a subtle glint of light appeared above her skyward.
The figure was high near the clouds, with two swords in hand and the one it its left hand raised above its head, but still close to its shoulder somewhat.
"..!", Aeris immediately recognized this as Cervantes' Shadow Flare.
'But that's impossible..!' she thought.
As the image trialed away, she retaliate unconsciously, as the figure came down towards her body.
She dodged to the left, but hardly only barely, though.
'Damnit! I need to get out of here, but how!?' she thought.
