She chooses Nightmare and equips Requiem.

Near the end, they both ended up with only the last drop of health remaining. Aeris had went in for a good Sky Splitter from the Ivy's right side. Leo hesitated but managed to nail a blow, but both techniques hit conversely and simultaneously.

The game's screen rang with a "Double K.O.!" marker.

"...." Aeris grew silent.
"Draw's aren't particular. They shouldn't count as a win, since neither surpassed the other. But the last one is the next."

'I'm putting out all the stops'.

She chose Cervantes.
Leo once again picked Ivy, but this times used her Kaleidoscope weapon.

not even 38% the way into the match, Leo got backed up against a wall after a single Cannon Lifter additional attack.
Aeris saw the perfect moment to try a new combo that came to her just then in a flash of an instant. She had saw someone on YouTube make a longass combo list, but this one seemed awesome.
Since she was using Styx instead of Lethe by accident because she was irritated and didn't feel like asking to go back to it, she went to it.
While Ivy was down form the Cannon Flare, she had Cervantes start the Soul Charge, and had him move back all the while. It was after the Soul Charge that Ivy then got up. Aeris then pulled out Cervantes' spinning wheel kick, Galleon Sinker, which knocked Ivy down back-first with a sliding impact, since the Soul Charge made it an automatic counter hit. She then repeatedly pressed A as much as she could so the hopping back up Ivy did afterwards would lead into Full Sail hoist, the slashing outward with the two blades, which caused Ivy to end up bent over, clutching her gut, and off-guard, which Aeris followed up with wide downslash with both swords at the same time called Killer X, which since the time spent in the combo, the Soul Charge neared its end, allowing Killer X to be the last automatic counter hit. So while the Killer X caused Ivy to bounce up off the ground and into the air, she went with it and nailed in a perfectly timed Flying Dutchman, (which always seemed to her as a Cervantes' version of Link's Illusion, but with two swords, faster, badass-er and far better) that had all 7 of its hit in mid-air. Ivy had died on the final stab of Flying Dutchman.

Leo was in shock-and-awe. Styx was one of his weakest weapons and he had lost.

Aeris was amazed at how much damage the combo had done, not only that but, the speed. The speed seemed almost immeasurable. She now considered using Styx more often, even though she truly preferred Lethe still.
