Franklin instructed Crystal to stay behind and clean up after their session while he and his mother went to acquire their new plaything. She was to remain out of sight until conditions were right for the rest of the family to see her. Crystal begrudgingly
agreed, and got to work while Franklin and Sue borrowed a Fantasticar for a quick trip to Westchester County.
Flying low in the sky and invisible the silent aircraft hovered above the school grounds. As sue switched the controls of the vehicle over to idling, she went over her plan again with Franklin. It would be no trouble gaining entrance to the Mansion, after
all Franklin had friends there after being a part time occupant while his parents were stuck in his pocket dimension.
"But you have to keep our true intents hidden, Franklin. Mommy's relying on you to keep us safe until we have the girl we're after and your Powers are going to be the only thing blocking Professor X or any of the other psychics in the school from catching
us out."
Sue swept the pair of them up in a forcefield and gently deposited them on the ground near the Main entrance to the school.
"Right, like magneto's helmet, but our skulls, I can do that." With a careful shifting of reality, taking extra care not to jar his or his mother's brains, Franklin applied a psychic block to their heads. "There."
"Good boy. Now when we find her, we need to make the appropriate changes to her memory, but also to the school admin systems, and possibly some people we meet along the way just to make sure people think they know what's going on. We're going to make sure
everyone thinks she was invited for an internship with The Fantastic Four."
The pair entered the buildingn Sue striding confidently along, Franklin following behind. The idea of bringing some of the X-men's women over to his way of thinking was definitely appealing, but for now they had another focus.
