"Try and remember who you are" Kitty said, reaching out to touch the rampaging she-beast.
Stinger was annoyed. Try to disrupt her plans, the little bitch? Well then, if she wanted to be close to Thunderbeast, she'd get her wish! Stinger fired at the two as Kitty touched the black woman's arm... And it was then that Stinger learned an important lesson
about the melding ray. Once melded, a person could not be melded further. Since the ray hit Thunderbeast, it had no effect. Stinger cursed and punched the ray several times.
"Roro! That ray, it's what did this to yoU!" Kitty said, pointing in the direction from which Stinger had fired.
"Kitty?" Thunderbeast muttered. "What happened... someone did this... I hate them!"
"Oh shit. Work work work" Stinger gasped, punching the ray. Punching it back into reverse by accident, she fired wildly at Thunderbeast, who was now heading in her direction! While cloaked, she had no doubt that the massive woman would smash everything until
she hit the villain. At the last moment, however, Thunderbeast jumped to the side, and the ray instead struck the surprised Kitty Pryde right in the chest.
As Stinger and Thunderbeast watched, Kitty's form bulged and swelled, tearing and mutating as it grew into two bodies attached like a set of siamese twins, and then tore themselves free. Sitting on the ground, one girl was an ethereal-looking creature with
very pretty features, long hair and almost white skin. She was almost translucent, with faintly pointed ears and a terrified expression. She wore no clothes whatsoever. The other girl was dressed from head to toe in a very tight ninja uniform made out of black
cloth and leather. She had strategic cutouts to show off her skin and modest curves, and her hood opened to let out a short brown haircut. The first girl was Sprite, a girl who had Kitty's phasing powers and more shy, innocent, bookish personality. The second
was Cat's Shadow, a tough-as-nails ninja girls with Kitty's more determined, practical personality and combat skills, plus the uncanny ability to avoid detection and move in silence.
"KITTY!" Thunderbeast howled, enraged.

"We need him back! I need him!" Scarlet Claw babbled.
Shieldmaiden was starting to have second thoughts about her leader's sanity. The redhead was babbling like a madwoman, so annoyed was she at having her intimate moment ruined. Even after freed, Scarlet Claw rushed after Spider-Man, taking only a brief moment
to get half-dressed. As she and shieldmaiden rushed back out into the base, Governess met them.
"This is a problem, the Avengers are here! The villains we gathered ended up being routed and like the idiots they are they fled back here... now they and all the superheroes are right outside!"
