Kathryne took a puff from her elegant cigarette holder and blew three smoke rings.

Storm... Wolverine... dear delicious Colossus... so many would make such wonderful thralls, but she knew who the first one needed to be.

Illyana Rasputin was her best friend and had helped to awaken Kathryne to so much power. Besides, her magic would be a definite threat unless Kathryne Pryde converted her to her side first.

The new Black Queen smiled as she typed at her computer. Yes, the new Illyana would be perfect.
