Cupid thought about and then thought some more. Clark and Mary Jane would be a good couple because of who they were but so was Peter and Lois. Lois might be a two years older than Peter but she needed someone who basically teach her that ambition and career would make for an empty life ahead of her. Lois would learn that she could have a family and still have a career. She just needed to learn that.

Peter would learn to be more responsible and have a very sexy brunette that would help him out with her connections. Lois was more mature than Mary Jane in mentally being able to work with Spiderman secretly to help the city. If she just happened to get the headline all the better. Lois might not be a redhead but it would prove to be interesting when she learned Peter's spider secret.
