The former Shadowcat had gotten her servants to get her a phone, dial the number (her fingers were so fat now), and then leave.

The phone rang. And rang. And rang.

"Hello?"

Thank goodness!

"Rogue!" Her voice sounded so harsh now. "It's Kitty! Something terrible's happened!"

"Who?"

"Kitty! Shadowcat! It's me!"

"I'm sorry, who is that?"

Kitty felt like she was about to get a nervous breakdown. How could they not know who she was?
